We dream because we need to get out our emotions. It helps us see what we need to do or sparks our creativity. Dreams can be caused by your feelings for other people- that's why we dream.
A parasomnia is a reaction to a child being uncomfortable or frightened. This may include: Night Terrors (when a child may run around screaming and doesn't take parental comfort), Nightmares, Confused Arousals (child may stay in bed but appear confused or frightened),and bed wetting.
